Membership of CCIWI

Membership

Because CCIWI is a not for profit Church that supports its membership, our subscription fees are really tiny! We also try very hard to live to our values of being non discriminatory so again we keep the subs really low so that membership is open to those people who want to be members and not just those who can afford to be members.

Ordinary and Clerical Membership is AUS$10 per year (we said it was low didn’t we!) with a AUS$5 joining fee to cover costs.

Associated Coven Membership is AUS$25 per year with a AUS$5 joining fee. (This is for covens-not individuals.)

All membership details remain confidential at all times and are not disclosed to any third party. This means we don’t on-sell your details to spammers or and expose you to unsolicited mail or email.

WHAT CCIWI Gives to its Members

CCIWI is an incorporated association which means it is legally bound to its constitution. The constitution, the strategic and day to day management of the Church is looked after by an elected Council of Elders who are respected members of the organisation. Elections for Council positions occur annually and anyone who is an Ordinary or Clerical member can be nominated.

To join CCIWI and support the Inclusive tradition and its church, please complete the membership form here.

There are four main levels of membership within CCIWI and these are;

  • Ordinary membership for individuals.
  • Clerical Membership (Lay and Ordained Ministers) for individuals who have reached the required standard of training and have been accepted by the Council.
  • Associated Coven membership for covens that practice and teach the Inclusive tradition.
  • Oak and Mistletoe as the founding coven and the online teaching school has ongoing automatic membership.

Membership gives people access to a variety of benefits including;

  • Supported progression of training that eventually may allow teaching rights and a legally recognised clergy title within the tradition.
  • Access to all the teaching materials, student record systems and related materials provided through Oak and Mistletoe for your own students.
  • Access to the Oak and Mistletoe publishing house for members who have authored their own Wiccan or Witchcraft book, CD or artwork and who wish to have that professionally published.
  • The right to seek nomination to the Council of Elders.
  • The right to free online links and web based promotion for your recognised teaching coven where it has Associated Coven membership.
