Learning Wicca
CCIWI believes that everyone has the right to learn about Wicca regardless of their location, colour, creed, ethnicity or age (with the exception for people under 18 years of age for ethical and legal reasons). Our tradition believes that you also have the right to choose how you practice within the Wiccan faith. After all, you’re in charge of your own religious practice, not us! So our tradition will teach you the foundational tenets and ritual practices of Inclusive Wicca but will also encourage you to modify those to meet your needs. What you’ll end up with is a way of being Wiccan that suits you rather than suits your teacher. It’s your personal version of Wicca and that’s important because Wicca is a very personal relationship with the Divine and with nature.
Currently you can learn about Inclusive Wicca through any Inclusive covens that might be local to where you live, or online through the official teaching coven of CCIWI which is Oak and Mistletoe. Because the tradition is still very young, even though we have a growing membership, local covens are still quite low in number. Oak and Mistletoe has a free, very user friendly, online teaching program that can take the Seeker all the way to their Inclusive First Degree if they choose. To find out more, please visit the Circle of Oak and Mistletoe.
